April Theme: Emergence

The #MeToo movement that is bringing personal experience and the prevalence of sexual assault and harassment to very public light has a chance to change the national dynamic that has kept so much sexual assault and harassment and both its perpetrators and sufferers invisible and ignored. Perhaps it has a chance to change us.

General information:

The UU Community of the Mountains offers two Sunday Services. Each Sunday, choose to attend at 9:30 am or 11:30 am.  Social hour is between the two services; either stay after the first service, or come early to the second one.

Religious education class for children (K – 5th grade) will happen during the 9:30 a.m. service.  Religious education for teens (6th – 12th grades) will happen at 10:30 a.m. between the two services.  Classes are not held on the first Sunday of each month, when children and youth are invited to attend Full Community Services along with adults.  We welcome families with small children and provide childcare to infants through children four years old for both services, as well as during Full Community Services.

Every service is different, so please come more than once to understand the diversity of our Community.

Dress is generally casual and the service is easily accessible to those in wheelchairs.  Our Religious Education classes  meet on the second level of our building, which is not wheelchair accessible.
