The fourth principle of the UnitarianUniversalist Association is: A free and responsible search for truth and meaning. What is truth? Is it what is objectively true and testable in a scientific sense? Or is it being authentic as an individual? Well, both of course. We need to be in touch with both kinds of truth to live successfully in this world.
To explore this fourth principle, UUCM member Jeff Stone asks, “God? Is this a concept that has use for anyone? What role does belief play in our search for meaning and truth? And, if we can, should we abolish death?”
