Currently, the responsibility of the UUCM Nominating Committee is to compile a slate of qualified nominees for open positions on the UUCM Board of Trustees and Endowment Fund Committee for the coming church year which runs from July 1 through June 30.

The UUCM Nominating Committee of three members and one alternate normally meets early in the calendar year to begin the selection process and then meets as often as necessary to complete the task in order to have the slate of nominees ready for presentation at the annual UUCM congregational meeting held each May.

If a position is vacated before June 30 each year, UUCM Nominating Committee may be asked to recruit a qualified UUCM Member to assume that role for the remainder of the term.

Groundwork is currently being laid to bring leadership development tools into the process, and so to support potential leaders over time and over the entire year..
