What’s In a Name?
Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains
June 8, 2025
Rev. Kevin Tarsa
name, Worship Associate
On June 4, 1995, members of this fledgling UU community voted on the name of their new congregation, choosing The Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains. In the process, they embodied the freedom that each UU congregation holds. Come celebrate that freedom, this community, the “Free Church” tradition, and what all of this can be in this era.
