On Mind and Heart: A Question Box Service

On Mind and Heart: A Question Box Service
Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains
August 2, 2026
Rev. Kevin Tarsa
Carol Nimick, Worship Associate

It is a tradition in some UU congregations to hold an annual Question Box service, in which the minister responds, usually on the spot, to written questions handed in by that day’s participants. There’s no telling where such questions will go. We broaden that slightly this year. Yes, you’ll have a chance to write and turn in questions for Rev. Kevin, or to send questions ahead of time, and he’ll answer as many as time allows in the service, but we’ll also collect two other kinds of questions: 1) The large personal life questions you are asking yourself right now, and 2) the big questions that you feel are urgent or significant enough to warrant an entire service, or workshop, or study/reflection group.
