The Power of Covenant: Going Deep and Holding On
Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains
October 4, 2026
Rev. Cat Cox
with Rev. Kevin Tarsa
Sarah Joy Blum, Worship Associate.
What does it mean to be “in covenant” together, as a congregation and as an association? What does covenant offer, and what does it require of us? Let’s explore how covenant, different from either contract or creed, both calls forth the best from us and offers compassion and care when we fall short.
Rev. Cat Cox joins us via Zoom to offer the sermon. Rev. Cat is a UU community minister and spiritual director offering companioning, deep listening and guidance in creating a fulfilling, meaning-centered life. Her services are available to individuals, couples, clergy, congregations, communities and leaders. Contact Rev. Cat through her website, ThePathOfJoy.org or at RevCat1213@gmail.com.
