UUCM’s Got Cider …or will soon!
Have you been around UUCM long enough to recognize “Cider Sunday” as an annual event? Each year, we gather in the sanctuary on the last Sunday of the year for a very different Sunday experience: Chairs in a circle, there is time for each person who wishes to reflect back on the year past and imagine the year about to begin. It’s always a special kind of sharing.
AND it always includes cups of hot cider.
This year, Marlene Bottenfield will make her cider pressing expertise and equipment available, so we will have a chance to create delicious cider together. We’ll do plenty of tasting along the way. Choose a date: November 29th or December 4th 10 am-12 noon to press our own fresh cider for the service. No experience is necessary! No fake ID required, all ages (yes, kids too) are welcome to join in the fun.
Want more info?
Please email Marlene directly at CiderSunday@uugrassvalley.org to let her know you want to join in the fun!
