Join us for a heartfelt afternoon of reflection, connection, and celebration of our vibrant trans community. This year’s Transgender Day of Remembrance invites us to remember those we’ve lost, resist hate and injustice, and rejoice in the love and resilience that unite us.
The program will include inspiring speakers, live music, a candle-lighting ceremony, a remembrance film, and local video messages from community members. A special panel featuring trans adults, youth, and parents of trans kids will share stories and insights, answering pre-submitted questions in an atmosphere of openness and support. Please submit any questions you would like to ask the panel to tdor@uugrassvalley.org
After the event, stay for a community reception and potluck with cake and refreshments—please bring something to share if you are able. Local organizations will be tabling and offering resources, so you can learn more about the wonderful work happening in our area.
Together, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and look toward a future filled with love, understanding, and joy. We hope to see you there. 🕯️
