The holidays are here again and it’s now time for the Caring Team to host the Holiday Giving Project. The Salvation Army has changed their program this year, and instead of adopting families, they are asking the public to donate Christmas gifts, toys, and holiday items to help low income families, with an emphasis on presents for teens ages 12-16 years of age.

On Sunday, November 20th, Gene Gilligan’s Soul Matter Circle will be filling in for the Caring Elves, and will be present in the foyer in front of the Christmas Tree where you can deposit your unwrapped gifts and gift cards (Please put gift cards in a bag so they won’t be lost) to make a teen’s holiday brighter.

We will be collecting gifts for 3 Sundays, November 20th, November 27th, and December 4th. Your purchased gifts need to be returned to UUCM no later than Sunday, December 4th.

For security reasons, please do not leave purchased gifts at the tree during the week when there is no one to receive them. You can also drop off gifts at the UUCM Office during office hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:00pm.
