**This group will meet in the Admin Conference Room in our new building!**

The UUCM Ministry Council serves to coordinate the Ministry Teams and their work to fulfill UUCM’s Mission.

The Council is made up of Ministry Team leaders, paid staff (as available), the Minister, a Chair or Co-Chairs, and a Board representative. A Council Chair, recruited by the Minister, organizes, and conducts Council activities and meetings. Frequency, format, and attendees of meetings are determined by the Minister and Council. Worship Team 3rd Thursdays @ 6:00pm

The Worship Team aims for shared ministry, alongside the minister, in planning and promoting worship services of quality and meaning. With the minister, the committee maintains and coordinates the schedule for all services and arranges for worship services when the minister is absent. […]

Arts & Crafts Drop-In Fridays @ 1:00pm

On Friday afternoons, drop in to work in community with other UUs on your own art or craft form!

A place to enjoy others’ company while working on independent projects with people who are doing the same. You’re sure to get encouragement and inspiration!

No teacher or facilitator. Informal gathering. All media and abilities welcome!

*Note that if no artists or crafters arrive by 1:15, UUCM’s Office Administrator will assume the meeting is canceled for the week and may lock up the building.

Building Work Parties and Land & Grounds Work Parties are held jointly on the third Saturday of each month. Our hope is to create more opportunities for handy folk to connect over shared interests — and to welcome anyone who is interested in teaching and learning new skills, all while maintaining our shared home. We will start at 9:00am in the Social Hall, and finishing around 11:00 (if not sooner!). 

If you are joining the Land Crew’s party, please bring loppers, clippers, wheelbarrows, your visions and ideas. We’ll bring a gas powered pole saw and wheelbarrow.

If you are joining the Building Crew’s party, you’re welcome to bring your favorite tools, work gloves, knee pads, or anything else that will help you get the jobs done! We have a few basic hand tools available, but all building materials are provided.

Come join in the fun helping to beautify and settle into our Squirrel Creek home!

Buddhist insight teaches that trying to run away from our fears, or otherwise trying to avoid them, only increases our suffering and others’ suffering. Plus, it strengthens our fears! Drawing on the wisdom of Thich Nhat Hanh and Pema Chödrön, we’ll at least consider the possibility (Gulp!) of befriending what frightens us.

Kids' Connection Sundays 10:15am

Kids’ Connection for children and youth is open and we are eager to welcome them!

Children (ages infant+) are invited to join their guardian(s) to participate in our community of all ages for the first portion of our Sunday services in the Sanctuary, including the story time, and then exit with their teachers to have their own special interactive gatherings for the remainder of the service.
