Building a Network of Generosity: Support the Andou-St Fort Family!

Andou-St Fort family in Haiti

Join us in creating a network of generosity and care as we welcome and support the Andou-St. Fort family, Haitian refugees in the Humanitarian Parole Program. The family has experienced violence and terrorism on their streets and has fled their established and productive lives for their safety.

Father and husband Nazaire has finally been able to join mother Moustapha and their two young boys, ages 4 and 8. Sponsored by Leisa and Steve, members of UUCM, the family is gradually and safely resettling itself in Nevada County, California.

Your financial support, whether one-time or ongoing – will help the Andou-St Fort Family build a life here in Northern California. Donations, which are not tax deductible, help cover the costs of ever-evolving needs as they seek employment that draws on their knowledge and skills : food, housing, school supplies, trauma therapy for the kids, transportation, and activities to keep the boys growing and engaged in their new community…

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”

-The Rev. Dr Martin Luther King, Jr.

Thank you for joining us in the loving support of the Andou-St. Fort family!
Together we can make a big difference toward peace and liberation in our community.
