The upcoming exhibition will be a whole new chapter in art shows at UUCM. We are honored to be sharing the bright, bold works of Yvonne Bartlett in the music room of our new church home. Yvonne’s official reception will be after the service on June 14. Please come by, talk to the artist herself, and enjoy the new venue.
In her own words:
Yvonne Bartlett is a retired consultant spanning over 30 years of leadership training to schools, non-profits and business organizations. In addition, she served 13 years as a trustee for the Grass Valley School District, counselor at Downieville School, and program director for Senior Project at Nevada Union High School as well as NCCLI (Nevada County Community Leadership Institute.
Yvonne began her fine arts endeavors in her sixties. She is eclectic and intuitive in her work enjoying collage, acrylic, watercolor, block printing and pen and ink embellished with vibrant, whimsical color. Hints of realism can be seen in her passion for the abstract.
