Share the Plate!
UUCM’s July Share the Plate recipient, Nevada County Habitat for Humanity, will receive $766.50 thanks to generous UUCM members, friends and visitors. Those weekly donations add up! Thank you, all.
As of this writing, we are currently finishing up collections for our August partner, Color Me Human.
Our September Share the Plate recipient is Sierra Streams Institute. Through research, restoration, education, and community science, Sierra Streams institute promotes scientific knowledge and stewardship of Sierra Nevada watersheds that share the challenges resulting from a century and a half of gold mining, development, and agriculture. UUCM’s own Lang Waters serves as the president of SSI’s board!
