UU 101 is an interactive, introductory session in which we’ll explore the history, principles, and sources of Unitarian Universalism and our congregation’s mission statement.
Join the conversation in Meeting Room 119 in the Classroom Wing, just beyond the Social Hall. Grab some coffee or tea, a snack, and bring your questions and curiosity!

A place to enjoy others’ company while working on independent projects with people who are doing the same. You’re sure to get encouragement and inspiration!

*Note that if no artists or crafters arrive by 1:15, UUCM’s Office Administrator will assume the meeting is canceled for the week and may lock up the building.
Kids’ Connection for children and youth is open and we are eager to welcome them!
Children (ages infant+) are invited to join their guardian(s) to participate in our community of all ages for the first portion of our Sunday services in the Sanctuary, including the story time, and then exit with their teachers to have their own special interactive gatherings for the remainder of the service.

Bounty & Barter is a truly-free, post-capitalist, eco-friendly, low-maintenance, pop-up marketplace. The idea is to create a space to routinely share the bounty of your gardens, the surplus of your bulk shopping, the hidden treasures in your shed, and find new uses for old ‘stuffses.’ We aim to reuse, repurpose, recycle, upcycle, future-cycle, and love-cycle all without the need for pesky pennies (unless you want to bring them as a trade or gift!).
There are just two rules:
1. no money will be exchanged (barters are at the discretion of the bringers)
2. nothing may be left behind after the market (if you don’t find a taker, you gotta take it home again)
Got yarn, fabric, or leftover craft supplies? Zucchini coming out your ears? What about that box of old magazines you keep meaning to donate? Here’s a regular opportunity to clear the clutter, share the surplus, extricate the extras — or come to take what you find and fashion it a new function!
While RSVPs aren’t necessary, it is nice to know how many tables we should set up. Bringers can email BountyAndBarter@uugrassvalley.org to let us know you’re bringing items to trade or gift. We’ll communicate and coordinate with Hospitality volunteers and set up space for sharing the ‘stuffses’ accordingly. Takers are welcome without RSVPs.
We are going to commit to Second Sundays through November. In December we’ll decide if we’ll keep it going or let it go.

The UUCM Ministry Council serves to coordinate the Ministry Teams and their work to fulfill UUCM’s Mission.
The Council is made up of Ministry Team leaders, paid staff (as available), the Minister, a Chair or Co-Chairs, and a Board representative. A Council Chair, recruited by the Minister, organizes, and conducts Council activities and meetings. Frequency, format, and attendees of meetings are determined by the Minister and Council.
